The Sussex Archaeological Society

Sussex Past is the charitable trust of the Sussex Archaeological Society, caring for seven historic sites across East and West Sussex. The portfolio spans thousands of years of history including Fishbourne Roman Palace - the largest Roman villa in Britain.  Other locations includeto Lewes Castle and Museum, Michelham Priory and the Long Man of Wilmington. As the county's largest heritage-based organisation, Sussex Past welcomes families, historians, and school groups across its sites throughout the year.

The organisation came to LOOP seeking a modern, flexible platform to replace an outdated WordPress setup that had become difficult to manage across multiple locations. The move coincided with a rollout of Digitickets for online booking, making it the right moment to get both the website and the visitor booking experience right at the same time.

LOOP gave Sussex Past a clean, multi-site platform with full in-house content control, clear visitor journeys across all seven locations.
