Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust

The Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust is a unique heritage attraction in the heart of the West Midlands, offering guided narrowboat trips through a network of historic limestone tunnels and caverns beneath the town of Dudley.

Visitors experience an extraordinary journey through 428 million years of history, with skipper-led tours taking in underground canals, light shows, and mining reconstructions that bring the industrial story of the Black Country vividly to life.

The Trust operates as a registered charity, serving a broad audience of families, school groups, history enthusiasts, and community visitors. As well as its visitor attraction offer, the Trust runs community programmes including its Tunnel Tots sessions and regular befriending groups, reflecting its role as a cherished local institution as much as a heritage destination.

LOOP replaced a previous WordPress-based website, giving the Trust a purpose-built visitor attraction platform better suited to their growing commercial ambitions and complex visitor offer.
